Models Available : Siemens Ruggedcom RSG907R , RSG908C, RSG909R, RSG910C
The winner of the Red Dot award 2018 for industrial design, RUGGEDCOM RSG907R is a compact Gigabit IEEE 1588 compatible Ethernet switch supporting High Availability Seamless Redundancy (HSR) and Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) according to IEC 62439-3.
Combining an Ethernet switch with an HSR/PRP redundancy box (RedBox) in a convenient compact design, this device ensures continuous secure, reliable operations, even during power failures, thereby greatly diminishing the risk of data and revenue loss. IEEE 1588 function support enables the RUGGEDCOM RSG907R to combine precision timing and network communication data on one network, thereby reducing maintenance costs. It can also be used to couple an HSR with a PRP or an RSTP network to operate on both types of redundant networks at the same time. Rugged rated to operate reliably in the harshest environmental conditions, the device provides maintenance-free operation for years at ambient temperatures ranging between –40 °C and 85 °C. It comes with comprehensive approvals for a variety of markets, including IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613 and IEC Ex.
The RSG907R managed ethernet switches feature the Rugged Operating System and universal power supply options. It also offers an array of cybersecurity features.
The RUGGEDCOM-Selector lets you configure RUGGEDCOM products quickly, easily, and efficiently, by using targeted navigation through selection menus or by entering item numbers. Selected products can then be ordered directly by transferring the parts list into the Industry Mall.
