One IED can be used to protect up to three 3-phase high impedance differential protection zones thanks to its I\/O capability.<\/p>\n

In securely earthed or low impedance earthed power systems, REB650 guarantees quick fault clearance for all kinds of internal phase-to-phase and phase-to-earth faults. In isolated or high-impedance earthed power systems, it can also manage any internal multi-phase failure.<\/p>\n

The Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) in the 650 series offer several helpful features, including a large reduction in the number of parameter settings and expanded IED HMI functionality.
