SIEMENS RUGGEDCOM MX5000 Enclosure MULTI-SERVICE PLATFORM

The Siemens Ruggedcom MX5000 Enclosure, and integrated switch and router is a high-port-density Ethernet routing and switching platform designed to operate in harsh environments. This integrated switch and router can withstand high levels of electromagnetic interference, radio frequency interference, and a wide temperature range of 40C to +85C. This platform is designed to meet the challenging climatic and environmental demands found in utility, industrial, and military network applications. The RUGGEDCOM-Selector lets you configure RUGGEDCOM products quickly, easily, and efficiently, by using targeted navigation through selection menus or by entering item numbers. Selected products can then be ordered directly by transferring the parts list into the Industry Mall.

Products with this technology also qualify as IEEE 1613 class 2 error-free devices. This innovation known as Zero Packet Loss technology  is designed to provide the same level of EMI immunity as protective relaying devices.
